ASHURA DAY IN BUKOBA

The Awaited One Hand Organization (TAHO), organized 12 days majilis in remembrance of the Karbala event. Samahat Sheikh Ismail from Geita Tanzania, was invited as a guest of honor and the main speaker during the whole 12 days.

TAHO further conducted 8 days majlis sessions and seminar for the ladies. The year theme was “The role of women in Karbala”. All the sessions were led by Mama Sherbhanu from Al-Mahdi (as) Madrasa.

All the majlis sessions and seminars were conducted at AL-ABBAS (as) DENTAL CLINIC hall. Each day there were several maatam, duaa recited and led by the teachers and students of Al- Mahdi madrasa. The recitations of Swahili maatam can be accessed via WhatsApp number +255767291030.

During the peak of Ashura Day (10th day), TAHO was also invited as a guest member to Kemondo Masjid, 20klm from Bukoba town. We organized transport fee (go and return) for 180 registered students, parents and invited guest under TAHO to attend the majlis.

We were lucky to be visited by Maulana Syed Zia Abbas from Bukoba Jamaat and Maulana Musharraf Hussein from Mwanza Jamaat. Mwalim Mubarak Abdullah welcomed them.

Samahat Shekh Abdurazak from Arusha has generous donated niaz and 3 goats for isale thawab is his marhoomins, request surat-fatiha.

On the same day we were also invited at Khoja Shia Ithnashary Jamat Bukoba(KSIJ) for the masira of Imam Hussein. We all gathered with sadness and cries for our beloved imam. LABBAYK YAA HUSSEIN.
