WHAT A BLESSING!!
"WITH THE SUPPORT OF MY ARTIFICIAL LIMB, I CAN NOW WALK TO SCHOOL, THANK YOU, MY DONOR, FOR BRIGHTENING MY WAY TO SCHOOL."
Glorious Telesphodi is 17 years old and a form three student at Isingiro Secondary School. He is living with his mother Adventina. He came to our office and they were received by Sister Eugenia Mwanyamiti.
Glorious explained to us that, "In 2017, I faced a bad motorcycle accident that caused the amputation of my right leg. I stayed home for one year while recovering, which caused me to stop school for one year."
Glorious was very upset to miss his studies for one year. Sister Eugenia told him, We want you to go back to school, we will help you to get an artificial limb… When hearing this, he smiled and said, "I have a dream of becoming a civil engineer."
"The accident caused a scar in my mind, but I never lost hope. In 2019, I started going to school using crutches, which was very difficult for me; I had to walk 16 km to and from school." Sister Eugenia escorted Glorious to Kagondo Hospital for an artificial limb, and after 8 days, he returned to Bukoba.
WHEN A DONOR SAW THE AFTER PHOTOS OF GLORIOUS HE SAID, "AL-HAMDULILLAH...... WHAT A BLESSING."
Special thanks to our donor in Dubai (Bande Khuda). May Allah protect him and his son, Mohamad Redha.
WE HAVE A LIST OF EIGHT MORE AMPUTEES WHO NEED HELP. KINDLY HELP US TO SAVE THEM FROM SUFFERING.
