DESCRIPTION OF THE APEAL

His name is Mipango, 6 years old, the only child in his family. He has no arms and his legs cannot support him to stand, he is living with his father.

“when my son was born, my wife and I thanked God for giving us a child like him. We believe that Mipango is a blessing from God , but the villagers started accusing my wife of giving birth to a cursed child”

Villagers have warned their children not to get close to him, hence Mipango mostly plays and eats alone, despite all that he is a jovial kid and very daring.

When you look carefully at these photos, Mipango wants us to see how he touch, hold things and eat, he really needs our help.

Disability does not mean no ability.

When a team of doctors and volunteers from (the Awaited One Hand Organization) visited Karagwe they came across this innocent child Mipango, he is very bright, happy and dare to do different things, he has a good ability.

“I am surprised at the number of things that Mipango can do, I want to help people to understand that having a disability does not mean that someone has abilities”
Mipango was not gifted with hands but he is a bright child, we need to give him god education he was accepted to join special school for disabled, and the fees is 1,200,000 Tsh per annum which is equivalent is $550.
